CIKM 2008 - Transportation and Directions

There major airports serve the area: San Francisco (SFO) 60 miles from Napa, Oakland (OAK) 50 Miles from Napa, and Sacramento (SAC) 60 Miles from Napa.

Here the suggested transportation options:

Airporter/taxi/bus/limo services

There are airporter/taxi/bus/limo services available from the airports to and from the hotel. The airporter (through the company Evans Transportation) would probably be your best option as it can take you straight up to the hotel. It runs 7 days a week, departing from the airport approximately every 1.5 to 2 hours (from 6:30AM to 10:30AM) Please see the following website for rates, schedules, pick up points, and more information on the airporter:

Public Transport and other Means

You can also reach Napa from the three airports using pubic transit. However, it can be a bit more elaborate and will involve at least a couple of transfers. Typically you would have to take the BART (train), then the Vallejo transit system (bus), and finally the VINE bus service from Vallejo. For detailed information on how to get to Napa using public transport from the three major airports, please see the following site:

For information on BART (train), bus services from Bart to Vallejo locations, and VINE bus services to Napa please see:
